Where are the Origin-Destination hotspots in Sydney during stay-at-home restrictions?

Stay-at-home orders may still be in place, but that hasn't stopped people from moving around Sydney. We had a look at some of the most popular journey origins and destinations across Sydney to see where people are still traveling to during April.

The Most Popular Origins and Destinations

It comes as no surprise that a large number of tripsstill begin and end within Sydney's CBD, particularly around transport and business hubs. Wynyard still remains one of the most frequented places in the Sydney CBD, with well over 1,000 trips beginning and ending here. Other hotspots included the smaller satellite business districts surrounding Centennial Park, Parramatta CBD, Western Sydney University, and Chatswood CBD.

Other Popular Origin and Destination Points-of-Interest

Similar to the most frequented origin and destination points, other hotspots included urban transport interchanges or satellite business parks. For instance, there were a large number of trips that started and ended around Manly Wharf where Sydney Ferries operate. Similarly, a large number of trips circulated around Westfield Warringah Mall - the site of a large bus interchange, including the B-Line and city-bound services, for the Northern Beaches.
