Tell us about yourself

Interaction with people in spaces is my passion. Luckily it's my job too. I studied Geography and Communication and have spent the last 8 years in an NGO promotion Walking as THE way to move around in daily life. I also created my own enterprise on Public Space and communication called WunschLinie (meaning, desire line, the direct way from A to B, such as you see in winter in the snow). And I'm about to start an education in Business management, because as a women, I would never had had the idea to do so...

What are the top 3 trends in your transport/smart city niche that everyone should look out for in the next 5 years?

Walking as a choice, Walking as a healthy choice, walking as the most environmentally friendly choice

How do you/your company innovate?

Walking is so obvious but ignored and underestimated. So bringing the subject, showing its potential, is innovative. We build partnerships with bright new stakeholders: Health promotion, shopping, playable cities, etc.

Why is encouraging innovation, new ideas, and tech important?

Isn't the world full enough of challenges? I'm finishing the book Thinking in System from Donella Meadows. We definitely needs a system reset, that means innovation. Tech is always a good thing, depending on how you use it. For instance, automatic cars could help to answer some challenges, but there is a lot to care about about how this happens. And the mistakes potential is huge too.
